Our young learner courses are designed to develop your child’s reading, writing, speaking and listening skills and improve their grammar / vocabulary knowledge all in a fun, motivating and memorable way.

Our objective is to inspire your child and improve their confidence through fun, interac- tive lessons with qualified native levels. We will both encourage them and challenge them during their time with us with the aim of helping them become more confident English speakers.

Level Course Information
Starter True Beginner
  • Variety of topics to include: family, food, activities.
  • Grammar structures to include: What colour is it? It’s ______________. Is it a plane? Yes it is/no it isn’t, I like/I don’t like.
  • Reading activities including left to right progression, word recognition, matching words to pictures.
  • Writing examples: drawing diagonals, curves and curve sequences, word tracing and guided word writing.
Level 1 Starter
  • Variety of topics to include: Jobs, my house, the park.
  • Grammar structures to include: What’s this? It’s a ________. She’s a / he’s a teacher. Is he a ______? Where’s the ball? It’s in/on/under? I like/I don’t like ….
  • Reading activities including a story, information on a webpage.
  • Writing examples: capital letters and full stops, question marks.
Level 2 Pre-elementary
  • Variety of topics to include: Feelings, food, outdoor activities, everyday activities.
  • Grammar structures to include: She can/she can’t .. What’s the time? It’s … o’clock. Present continuous.
  • Reading activities including stories, magazine interview, weather report.
  • Writing examples: using commas, using and to connect sentences, writing about a party.
Level 3 Elementary
  • Variety of topics to include: Hobbies, water sports, transport.
  • Grammar structures to include: present continuous, like + verb + ing, present simple with adverbs of frequency, countable and uncountable nouns.
  • Reading activities including a film a review, a recipe, a story.
  • Writing examples: capitalisation of proper nouns, writing a postcard, writing an invitation email.
Level 4 Pre-Intermediate
  • Variety of topics to include: The restaurant, directions, at the airport.
  • Grammar structures to include: Past simple, future with will, present perfect.
  • Reading activities including: a letter, an information leaflet, an informative webpage.
  • Speaking practice including colloquial English, managing discussions, questionnaires, expressing feelings.
  • Writing examples: using speech marks, writing the end of a story, topic sentences.
Level 5 Intermediate
  • Variety of topics to include: Performing arts, the environment, History, health and fitness.
  • Grammar structures to include: reported speech, first conditional, the passive.
  • Reading activities including: A play script, a magazine article, an information poster.
  • Writing examples: Features of a newspaper, features of a film review, expressing opinions.
Level 6 Upper Intermediate
  • Variety of topics to include: Free time, technology, travel, adventures.
  • Grammar structures to include: past perfect, second and third conditional, question tags.
  • Reading activities including: A sports profile, a travel article, a book extract, website article.
  • Writing examples: Presenting a research project, features of an advert, writing a biography.

4. Is this course using recorded lectures? Do I need to attend any class online?
This English course is taught by highly qualified UK native teachers. All lessons in this course are live from UK, not recorded lectures because the best way to learn English is through interactive lessons. But you can have access to readings, homework, progress tests anytime and anywhere via the web or your smart devices.
5. How long does it take to improve my English level?
There are seven levels in the Smart Kids course, Starter True Beginner, Starter, Pre-elementary, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate, Intermediate and Upper-Intermediate, it will take you 12-14 weeks to improve one level of English if you study 5 days a week.
6. Will I get a certificate after the course?
Yes, all our English courses are accredited by British UK, so you will receive a certificate upon completion of the course and received the certificate.
